OptXware participated in the development of Modeler. This is a modeling tool that can be used to make team work easier and more effective by creating mathematical models, diagrams, text or audio notes, dashboards. The free Modeler trial is now available.
CoMiFin project ended with excellent result

The CoMiFin EU FP7 project ended successfully. The project got excellent qualification on the final review meeting in Waterford.
OptXware became AUTOSAR development member

The Steering Committee of AUTOSAR accepted the application of OptXware for a development membership. OptXware will be active primarily in WP-1.2.

OptXware made the process-based modeling and simulation of the IBM DSS factory as a subcontractor of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Prof. András Pataricza, president of OptXware, presented the results of the project in the IBM Smarter Cities program series on the 24th of February 2011. The joint paper "Assessing the Security of Internet Connected Critical Infrastructures (The CoMiFin Project Approach)" of OptXware, Technical University of Darmstadt and Waterford Institute of Technolgy was presented at the 1st International Workshop on the Security of Internet of Things in Tokyo.
The paper was also invited to a special issue of the Security and Communication Networks journal ("Protecting the Internet of Things").

The model-based tool integration approach (Workflow-Driven Tool Integration Using Model Transformations ) used in the tool development of OptXware was published in a book of Springer on graph transformations and model driven engineering.
OptXware represented at the EU level informal meeting of Financial Regulatories

László Gönczy represented the CoMiFin project at the informal meeting of IT Security experts of European Financial Regulatories in Madrid (ITSG). He gave a presentation and a demo on the CoMiFin approach. Participants discussed the potential usage of CoMiFin to help the work of regulatory authorities.
